Travel Photo Thursday Feb 3rd

Over at budgettravelerssandbox.com/ it's Travel Photo Thursday so here is our photo that helps illustrate a great time on our travels. This time it's kids-

Taken at the kindergarten in Anixab, Damaraland, east of Brandberg Mountain, Namibia. The kidergarten has been adopted by EHRA, Elephant-Human Relations Aid. I'll take some gear over for them in May.

This is the kindergarten, a drab, dingy block hut until the EHRA volunteers painted it up.

Jim,
Another great post. The smiles on children's faces are something most countries leaders need to see. It's an international treasure more folks should learn to appreciate. Thank you for a photographic uplift !

Thanks everyone. Yes the top [photo of the kid wearing my hat just has to be a favourite photo, as it captures his cheeky smile, while all the other kids have really interesting expressions also.
Sorry Norazam, I have now edited in that the country is Namibia.

Hello,
I had to visit you on Red Nomad Oz's glowing recommendation. She hit the mark in that you have an interesting blog. You could teach me a lot with your travels as I had to look up Namibia. You must have said "cheese" or something good to eat to get those big smiles.
Peaceful looking country

Thanks for participating in Travel Photo Thursday. I always love to see your latest photo!

Enjoyable to see yours and the others that get put up too Nancie. It's a good exercise to be able to post up an interesting photo from our travels without having to blog too much about them, because each photo tells so much.
